Acceptable Use

CalgaryDC provides space, power, and connectivity to customers who operate their own equipment. Customers are responsible for the content, software, and traffic associated with their hardware, and for compliance with applicable Canadian and Alberta law.

Bandwidth allowances are measured at the 95th percentile over each billing month. Sustained use above the allowance may result in a request to move to a larger configuration or, if unaddressed, rate limiting. Port speed is the interface rate and does not represent a committed rate.

Customers announcing prefixes over BGP must maintain accurate IRR objects and valid RPKI ROAs. Announcements that fail validation will be filtered.

Prohibited activity includes unsolicited bulk email, network abuse directed at third parties, hosting of unlawful content, and any activity that degrades service for other customers or threatens the facility. Confirmed abuse may result in suspension without refund.

Power draw must stay within the stated allowance for the configuration. Equipment that exceeds its allowance or presents a safety concern may be powered down pending correction.
