Direct connectivity, simple terms. Every configuration includes IP transit and Calgary exchange peering on a best-effort fabric — no long MSA, no quote chase, no commit games. Unmetered plans run at full port speed; metered plans get the stated 95th-percentile allowance on a Cogent + YYCIX network.
What you get
- IP transit and Calgary exchange peering
- 1 Gbps or 10 Gbps interface per plan
- Unmetered bandwidth on 1U and dedicated-rack plans; 95th-percentile allowance on quarter and half cabinets
- BGP with your own ASN at no charge (IRR and RPKI required)
- IPv4 /30 and IPv6 /64 included — larger assignments as an add-on
What these configurations are not
- No DDoS mitigation product
- No SLA credits on published configurations
- No committed bandwidth beyond the stated plan allowance
- Best-effort delivery; no guaranteed latency or path

A YYCIX port carries a $500 one-time charge paid to the data centre. YYCIX port allocation fees are between you and the exchange.
